Thomas Metzner

In June 2018 I joined Red Hat and work in a Pre-Sales role as Account Solution Architect for the Deutsche Telekom Group.
I started my career 1991 at Siemens and was involved in creating the first D900 Mobile Switching Center for DT. I spend more than 15 years in different Software engineering manager roles, building Telco-grade systems for customers in all regions of the world.
That means I am in the Telco business since 1G, now I look forward to helping DT building 5G with Open Source based enterprise software.
